I dropped by Kinokuniya to place an order for Zero no Tsukaima vol.2 and 3 today and pick up the October Issue of Newtype. As usual, I ended up with unexpected expenditures.
Let me tell you a story.
Zero no Tsukaima is an original light novel series by Noboru Yamaguchi published under MF文庫 (Media Factory bunko).
The first novel took me about three days to finish. For comparison, it took me a few weeks of half-hearted reading to complete Suzumiya Haruhi no Tameiki. Either Zero was that good or Tameiki really really sucked. Anyway, read on for my thoughts and some comparisons to the anime.
I have a problem. I am running on a tight budget this month (hint: Haruhi DVDs) and Japan decided to help me with this problem by releasing all sorts of wonderful things that I would die to get my hands on. For fuck’s sake Japan! A guy can only die once, you know.
Sad to say I own the entire series of that book

New “Kino no Tabi” (by Keiichi Shigusawa) movie confirmed!
This is the third anime adaptation and the second movie adaptation. The last movie “Kino no Tabi ~nanika suru tame ni~” was only shown in a single cinema, we wonder how it’ll be this time. Will it be in theatres the same time as the “Shakugan no Shana” movie?
Kino is a reverse trap! :3
